Dr. Robert Donofrio named CEO of Taza Aya

Taza Aya has appointed Dr. Robert S. Donofrio to the position of Chief Executive Officer.

Dr. Donofrio brings over 30 years of corporate experience leading innovation, product development, and product commercialization across the food safety, public health, and life science sectors, an outstanding alignment with Taza Aya’s current beachhead and future addressable markets.

Rob debuted as CEO along side COO Mike Drake and CSO Herek Clack at the recent Celebrate Invention event (above) held by University of Michigan’s Innovation Partnerships.  His leadership will guide Taza Aya through its next phase of growth, focusing on bringing our groundbreaking plasma-enabled wearable air curtain product to market — a patented system that provides an invisible, protective shield of disinfected air around the face, capable of preventing inhalation of 99.8% of viral aerosols — as we accelerate toward first commercial deployment, formalization of strategic partnerships, and completing our $1M seed raise to advance manufacturing and early adoption.
