The National Academies of Science, Engineering, and Medicine (NASEM) held a workshop on 29-30 September 2025 to address the needs and lack of solutions available to protect high-risk farmworkers from respiratory diseases. NASEM recently released the workshop proceedings, a printed report that compiles all of the workshop sessions including speaker presentations and discussions. Taza Aya was honored to have been featured prominently for its plasma-enabled wearable air curtain, which stood out as the only respiratory protective solution on the horizon to address the needs of workers and persons not covered under a respiratory protection program that would mandate facemask (e.g., N95) fit-testing.
