Taza Aya & Michigan Turkey Launch Pilot Study to Validate Performance Metrics

Having successfully completed their USDA-funded prototype development project, on June 5th Taza Aya delivered the first 5 evaluation units of its next-generation, plasma-enabled wearable air curtain to Michigan Turkey Producers.   Michigan Turkey, the 10th largest producer of turkeys in the U.S., is now conducting a structured evaluation program over 8 weeks involving workers across various processing operations using one of the devices during their shifts.

The pilot program will:
✅ Validate KPIs such as impacts on productivity and communication, comfort, and worker adoption
✅ Obtain data on battery performance over 8-hour shifts and food safety compatibility

✅ Assess feasibility of extending protection to farm workers in high-dust environments  
✅ Confirm readiness for broad commercial deployment
